Hello my name is nick and I own a 2002 chevrolet Silverado Z71 with the vortec 5300 engine. To start out with my truck has no modifications on it except for a 2 stage Ams oil air filter I also run 100% synthetic 0w30 Ams Oil in it. over all its a vey fast truck I think I can say so because I decided to race my friends 2004 ford F150 fx4 with the new 300 horsepower 5.4L triton engine. We decided to race 1/4 mile from a dubble lane road from a stop light. from when the race started and untill the race ended I was ahed of him and when it was dun I was 2 truck lenths ahed of him. over all I like my truck a lot and i hope to here from you all soon.

 

Welcome! This site is awesome, I have learned a lot of info about the LS1 trucks since I have been here. Also, good job on the F-150 kill, those things arent all they are cracked up to be, power wise. Now time for some mods to really smoke the Fords.(seriously, if you stay on this website for long, the mod bug will bite, and there is no cure ?

 

Not so .... buy mods and it will be cured ..... for a short period anyways.
