Default New magnaflow muffler installed

My old man lent me some dinero so I could get rid of my almost illegal sounding exhaust. Its a Magnaflow 2.5 dual in, 2.5 dual out muffler that I think I read was about 18" long. All I can say is I love how quiet it is.
No drone inside the cab, sounds good at idle and overall I'm very pleased. Truck seems to pick up better as well. Keep in mind I have ASM's and no cats and this muffler is still quiet. Thanks for the recommendation Lance (02denali)

Is it 5x8x18? If so that's what I have for my Z with a built in X-pipe...

Nice set up Santi... Just wondering why did not go with a single 3" Magnaflow?

its already true dualed from the factory, so it was just easier to cut out the dynomax's and weld the magnaflow in its place

I see. I failed to see the dual in/dual out.

I like the way Magnaflows ended up sounding on my truck. I wanted something quiet but free-flowing. That's impossible of course so the Magnaflows were the next best thing. I went with dual 5x11x22 3" offset mufflers side-by-side with a 2.5" balance pipe aft of the 3" cats. Between the two I get very little interior resonance and they're plenty quiet just cruising around. Under power they do make quite a scene however - they roar. I'm happy.

Sounds like this under power:
