Well guys I'm excited, my new Kooks 6753 headers finally showed up. 1 7/8" primaries with their trademark 3" spiked merge collectors. The OBX's are already off the truck and sold. Now I have to find time in the next few nights to get the headers installed and then get my new true dual 3" setup installed. Here's some pics as a few minutes ago when I unboxed them to check everything out. Nice equal length primaries, clean welds, etc. I don't see where the ARH headers have anything on these guys and they almost look identical in design. Maybe the Kooks even flow a little smoother (straighter). I'll let you guys be the judge. Here's the pics you've all been waiting for. Side note: that's not welding spatter you see inside the collector, it's just metal shavings and a little bit of oil mixed together. I plan on cleaning teh crud out before install.

Any updates with your Kooks header? has it made any difference? Just interested to know because I might also get this same headers.

I just stuffed a forged 5.7 in and tried a set of F body Dynamaxx headers. = NO FIT !

Just ordered the Kooks. Part # is 6752 along with a non catted Y. I'll prolly chop the Y and go true duals as I have 2 3" Magnaflows in the attic.

oh and for those who were wondering why the hell would you go with 3" true duals....this is true dual vs single exhaust on my old LS1 setup

Ok I read this whole thread twice.

Simple question. Without stirring up the pot. Why did you try the Kook's rather than use the ARH? I ask simply because I run the AR 1 7/8" and I have had them for almost 2 years now actually just took them off to have them coated recently so they are sitting in my living room. Is it a cost issue or just preference?

it was pacesetters through a 3" y pipe and 3" cutout.

now it is kooks 1 7/8 stepped to 2" primaries with dual 3" through an x pipe. mandrel bent. thinking about getting rid of the x pipe for an H pipe.

preference. the kooks and ARH headers are probably just about identical in quality and performance. i think the kooks are a bit easier on the wallet though.
