That stinks Stewy.
Joe, get some Dynas or SW, & call it a day. Sorry to hear it didn't work for ya. Here's a tip: Use this. --> Or this if u really need to adjust the fit.

I'm working with speed inc right now to try to get the headers exchanged back. We had an agreement that if the headers didn't fit, they would accept them back in return. We'll see how that goes. In the meantime if someone wants a deal on these, I'll hook them up. These technically are for a 2008 Escalade Part#: 6753. I have these sitting next to me in the box right now and I can ship immediatly. If you want a set of these for your 07+ GM SUV, you'd have to wait a month to get them and pay $150 more than I'm selling them for.

that sounds like the exact issue i was having. check and make sure it's not the transmission lines making it not work. on mine, it seemed like it was touching the frame too hard to fit. the holes wouldnt line up on the head and the front wouldnt even touch the head. i had to relocate my tranny cooler lines away from my starter to get the primary off of the frame. they slipped right up and in after i moved those lines. i didnt even know the lines were touching.

I'm seeing what Speed Inc offers me first. I was hoping to just add some cash and move into a different brand header that I know fits. The Fbody headers worry me as far as fitment goes.

This doesn't make sense to me. You bought probably the best, most exspensive headers on the market and are gonna have "Billy Bob" duct tape and jb weld some duels (yeah I spelled it wrong, thats how the idiots do it down here). save up some money like you did for the headers in the first place and pay a high end shop to do it right. Like you said you dont want to do it over again.
