Default New Intake?

i have a forged 355 chevy with dart iron eagle platinum heads with 2.05 1.60 valves, holley 750 carb, and a comp cam .511/.511 lift with 292 duration, the rpm range is 2500 to 6500, i have a regular ol everyday edelbrock performer intake and i think it is restricting my engine... if this is true would a rpm air gap 1500 to 6500 be the way to go?? if not can you give me some suggestions... thanks
