I agree! Those are some wicked times for something that heavy. Just think, you could take the spare out and pick up over a tenth! I'm sure they weight 100lbs. Those trucks are massive....and to run anywhere in the 14's is sick! Congrats.

Thanks guys, but I've still got a little ways to go. The cool thing is that I haven't done much to engine itself other than valvesprings. I can still do headers, cam, a convertor, and ported heads eventually. I can still do a 2.8 or 2.75 pulley, too. The 6.0 is a great foundation. I'm just trying to make sure I stay reliable.

Okay, that's not fair, surely not what you bought it for....and it can't be worse than my 1973 Olds Toronado, which got 5 or 7 mpg....maybe.

Where I live there are lots of hills and grades to climb so I see about 9.5-10 mpg lately. When I am on the other side of the water (Seattle side) it can still knock down 12-13 mpg on the freeway. It was a little better when it was stock... but not by much.

I wish I had video of the runs because it felt pretty strong. There was this dodge cummins turbo diesel that got a real good look at the second run since I crossed the line almost a second ahead of him
