I never cranked the t-bars, but it'd probably ensure more clearance if you go with the 16x10 rims. On that truck I had a hypertech, a UPD intake, and a borla muffler.

I, like you, have just gotten into a truck....again. I had a fairly build LS1 car about a year ago, so i'm pretty fresh on the motors these new truck have. Sounds like my plans for my truck are about the same as yours. I installed Ford torsion bar keys to level the front of my truck out with the back. If you want to read up on that, go to www.fullsizechevy.com and go to the offroad forum. These really straightened the look of my truck out and made it ride better too. I'm planning on doing a 3" body lift and 33x1250x16 Swamper Trxus tire here in the next few months. Cheapest place i've found the body lift is www.roughcountry.com.

I put on a Magnaflow muffler in place of my stock muffler last week, and I have to say I despise it. It drones really loud between 1400-2000 rpm's and made the bottom end torque get a little soft. I'm sticking my stocker back on tomorrow. I went Magnaflow because of all the raves of this board, and I was very disappointed. I ran a single in/out Dynomax on my LS1 car that put out 400hp to the wheels, and there was NO drone at all, even with no cats and headers. Back to the drawing board for me on exhaust!

Let us know how your plans go for your new truck.
