Default New Exhaust Setup

Well, after spending alot of time trying to find something that sounds like the GMMG exhaust on my Formula. I finally decided to bite the bullet today and make my own setup. I ordered 2-24" long chambered pipes with a 3" core from Stainless Works and they said it should be on my doorstep in about 3 weeks. Than I'm gonna go to my local exhaust guy and have him fab up the rest of the piping. I'll post the sound clips as soon as it's all done. Just wanna say that the customer service I received was top notch and I'll definately use them again if I have any exhaust needs.

I sure hope so. I was between this and Corsa for an F-body type sound. Hopefully this'll work out and I won't have to do a different exhaust setup. Maybe if I can scrape together the funds I can order and install a new set of the Pacesetter LT's and ORY with it as well

I have been wondering what a chambered system would sound like on our trucks.

Well I'll post sound clips once everything is welded, ceramic coated, and put together. They told me it'd be loud due to only going with a 24" tube that's gonna have a 3" core as opposed to their 30" tubes that have around a 2-1/2" core. I don't think it will be any louder than my 40 series with dumps on it right now.

Well, things aren't really going right now. Unfortunately the mufflers were special order and they had to wait on a few things. I did talk with Scott at Stainless Works Friday though.....and he said they should be on my door step by the 1st. I would have everything else for the install, but I was given bad info from the Tech line at JustMagnaflow.com....and ordered the wrong size y-pipe. They picked it up on Thursday and I should have a new correct size y-pipe next week. Other than that things are going fine. The 3-1/2" Slash Cut (15*) tips I got look awesome though. Can't wait to get them mounted and hear everything.
