Default G-tech 1/4 results.

I did a few 1/4 mile runs for the first time with my truck. I'm not overly happy with the results. My reaction time was horrible and it felt like it took at least 2 sec for the truck to respond to the throttle. It felt like it was bogging down, then it took off.

0-60 6.0sec
1/4 mile 14.4x
1/4 mile speed 99mph

I know I can do much better. Either my tune is still messed up(YES) and/or my launch technique needs help(YES). This was in 4hi with the 8lb pulley on. I'll try it again in a few days, hopefully at the track. NewEngland Dragway. I may even go up to 10lbs.

What is your weight?

In my 5250 pound truck, 99 mph in the 1/4 is in the 13.8 - 14.1 range.

I'm certain my tune is not great. I'm planning to get to Dez one of these days to have Don(slowhawk) tweak it. Hopefully, he'll be able to see what i'm doing wrong and fix it. I was kinda thinking I should easily be in the 13's too. No idea what the truck weighs. anyone wanna guess?

My '03 1500HD, which should be in your ballpark, weighed 5850 lbs on the local highway scale when it was stock. If anything your truck should be a little heavier with the larger rear axle and larger frame.
