Default new exhaust on 06 5.3

i just installed my Pacesetter ceramic longtubes today. Im getting a magnaflow tomorrow. right now its the headers and ory going into the factory muffler. it sounds like doo doo. i will update on the power and sound tomorrow after the magnaflow. by the way pacesetter told me that the headers would not fit the 06 models.........it does.

Good to know they fit the 06s.
Are you 4x4?
Any other details?

Did you have to move your motor over 2"?

Or relocate your steering shaft?

Or any frame interference?

well then maybe you can answer what we all have wanted to know. What mods will NOT void warranty performance/suspension wise?

I'm also a technician at a GM dealership.... We let people slide with modifications all the time. Just last week we replaced some injectors on a duramax with a 5" exhaust and some kind of power programming system.

Lots of new trucks have dual exhaust put on them and we don't say anything about it.

I'm sure we wouldn't warranty a vehicle with Forced induction put on it or NO2.

Awesome. I'm glad to hear the LT's will fit on the 06. I noticed most places selling the Pacesetters went to 05 as the last year so I was a bit leary of purchasing them as of yet.

My particular dealership doesn't have a problem will full exhaust either as long as you're not getting a SES light from it in anyway.

Can't wait to hear the set up!

Moved it for install clearance, then put it back, or had to relocate it permanently?
