how is the power diff between that and the 216/220? and idle

so are you still planning on turning that thing in to a stroked beast or taking it easy for a while now???

gotta bombard you with questions obviously

We'll need to get some fine tuning done to the ECM to gain all of what the camshaft gained. It needs about 400 rpm more in the shiftpoints to about 6400-6500rpm. It still idles fine, but its noticably more choppy than the other camshaft - idle is set to 950, if it was lower it would probably be a lot more noticable. Seems to lost a little on the bottom end according to Jason, didn't feel too different to me though
I don't think there are any other major plans for the 6.0L right now, too many other projects going on. Got to eventually work on his C5 a little, its the slowest car in the shop right now, lol

what about those couple of people who are going with the reverse split duration cams in the ls1s but are N/A... they say with xe-r lobes make same low end power but more top end all with a better idle than single pattern with close to the same duration.

would this work on the trucks as well? or is this something that only works good in certain instances

The thing I worry about is the keeping the cam pretty small with the smaller motors. I think the 6.0L is big enough that we can just give up some low end power for ponies up top. Its still not as fast as a m6 LS1 car I dont think, some guy spanked me a few cars last night, but he had some mods At the end of the race I told him good race you have a fast car & he replied yeah I know! I was thinking, biotch I have a TNT kit sitting at my house dont make me use it!
