really slow truck

well, been cruisin around with the new cam for a while now and i love it, but never tested it with nitrous... planning on going to dyno day saturday to see what she is putting out on spray now so i had to test out the tune to see how it would hold up on the 150shot.

all i can say is holy **** lol, i was thinkin just get goin fast floor it, turn on spray at ~15mph and traction wont be a problem, ended up spinning all the way to 50 when i let off before it shifted. even with all that spinning i wasnt expecting it to feel that fast heh. ME LIKEY! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

tho i do have a few problems, there is detonation on the top end which pisses me off considering the O2s are reading .90-.91 on spray and i have it jetted 2 rich over the recomended. guess i should figure this out before i dyno lol

What cam is it? Sounds pretty mean. Where are you going to dyno it at? What N20 kit?
I would not put to much faith in the O2s. When I was tuning my truck 11.2 to 11.7 was 920s to 930s. Was the knock retard happening during during a shift? Some people have no problem with knock retard as long as it stays below 3-4. Although, I have a problem with it at 1 deg.

its a cam i got from lingenfelter, a 218/219 .532/.532 114lsa. i wouldnt call my ride a beast by any means tho heh

what day/time are u goin up to speedtek to dyno? i remember talking to you for like 1/2 second at the SLP day actually, but basically just said high real quick. would be fun to chill for a lil bit. if i dont have any classes around then im sure i could mosy my way on up there

my kit is an NX single stage kit, the knock was basically instant when nitrous came on. NA i have basically no knock reatard at all so im almost positive its not false knock. this happened in a punch in second gear as well as a punch in first gear as well

yah i dont put too much faith in O2s, but its all i have right now so cant do much about it except get to a wideband

im goin HP store on saturday btw, they are having a dyno day, 40/3pulls

scream, good luck on that install im sure you will love that cam <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> mine idles fine once it warms up. cold starts can be a bitch sometimes though, occasionally may have to give it gas so it doesnt stall

yup, everything was the way it was supposed to be, im going to try lowering the timing to 24* today to see if that helps any

well after lowering the timing to 24* it helped ALOT, KR went from 7.5 to 1.7 im happy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
