Went to the track last nite to do some tuning in preparation for the Sport Truck shootout next week. I was planning on spraying it (haven't used the juice with the new motor yet) but the freakin solenoid failed on me and won't even click

Anyways, the heat index was 114 degrees here yesterday-I was having trouble breathing and I am sure the truck was as well. This was my first time to the track with my new 28" tires so I was hoping for a little better 60 fts but the track was too hot and greasy for that. I was cooking the tires past the 60ft mark, but still managed 1.83-1.86 short times and it ended up going a best of 7.75 at 93MPH !! I was quite happy with the speed considering the weather conditions.

I ordered a bigger N20 sol. today so maybe next time out I will be able to see how well is likes the spray....

Off topic----do you have any pics of your intercooler setup?

 

Did you get the solenoid in, tested? The weather is forecasted to be in the mid 8xs on Saturday for the Sport Truck Shootout, should yield for some good times.

I got the solenoid and it is installed but I didn't have time to test it. I plan on getting an early start tomorrow and that is the first thing on my list. I might go ahead and go to the local 1/8th mile track tomorrow eve just to see, dunno yet. I am excited about the weather in BG I am glad it isn't going to be 100+ deg. -see ya there.

Ok, the juice is working, the weather is pretty good (only 85 degrees today) and there is race gas in the tank. It just so happens that tonight is test-n-tune night at the local 1/8th mile. Guess where I am heading in a couple hours??

Damn nice times in the heat! I'm gonna enjoy watching the FAST trucks Saturday. My wife is gonna hate all the go fast goodies I'll see and want Friday night

Best of 7.18 at 102.04 ! I was disappointed with the ET, and happy with the MPH. It was spinning a long ways-nowhere near hooking. It had a 1.78 short time on that pass.

I am having trouble with the A/F-the MAF is maxed out and the fuel is hard to control. I need to go to a dyno and spend a little time fine tuning I guess.
