Hello all, I am new to the truck seen but not to the site. I haven't thought about mod'n the Yukon, until now. Now that I sold my LS1. So tell me, what can a guy hide from his wife that I can spend all my money on. KEY WORDS....HIDE FROM WIFE. No headers, nothing unusual to the vision, maybe NOS. I have 37K on Big Blue.

deffinatly a nelson tune
can she feel it or hear it
or does she just have to see it.
there are quite a few things to do
I'm sure with it being a Yukon you hae 3.73 gears and a locking G80
how about a stealth cam, or a stall.\
heads, Nos like you suggested.
I have over 10,000 invested in mine and the wife only knows about 1/4 of it
or thats what she is leading me to believe

Definitely cannot see it. Although since we have owned it, she has been under the hood, lets see, never! Hearing it would be a problem. We never hog on it when we are together, so good to go on the "feeling it" subject. website for tuning?

what are the chances of your wife ever looking under the hood. i would think she'd notice a big *** no2 tank before say , headers, cam, s.c, mild exhaust, etc. and then theres "honey what does this switch do ?". but seriously, i vote for the nelson tune. fortunatly, my wife loves my truck as much as i do. e

To be better than the average bear in your Tahoe, a Nelson 93 octane tune for sure. Be sure to ask for 80% of the TM to be removed.
If the exhaust noise of the average market CatBack would be a givaway find an SS Silverado exhaust. Try the classifieds on the SilveradoSS forum and ebay. The muffler flows around 160 CFM better than an OE single in and out. If your Tahoe has a single in then be sure to have the shop split your y-pipe so to be true dual into the SS muffler.
Note: It has been said that some year Tahoes have the same muffler. It looks the same anyway. You can call Corsa Performance and ask. They have flow tested many of GM's mufflers.
If you get a K&N filter don't forget to let it drip on some news paper a couple of days and clean you MAF sensor elements after the initial 50 or 100 of miles.
This is what I have done to my 03 Z71 ECSB and she is much stronger than in its OE state.

Well I had pcmforless do my SS, and it was great, but again, she never filled it up. But on occasion she does fill up the Yukon. What if I do get it tuned to high octane and she does happen to fill it up with 89? What will happen?

welcome!
