you got 340 hp outof a 5.3liter with just a 220 cam ??? what am i missing here gears and converter wont add HP and there is on way a 220 cam will give 100 rwhp

 

I wouldn't doubt it. There's quite a few accomplishing this now. Comparing dyno's isn't the way to look at it, either. If he's running 12.8's with a cam-only 5.3, you know he's putting some power to the ground.

 

340hp is with all my bolt ons, and the addition of the 220 cam and tuning. I started out with a bolt on truck before the cam. When I say cam only, I mean no headwork or bottom end changes, etc. Sorry for the mix up.

Funny dont know yet but for sure I am getting a TR cam 220 or 224 dont know maybe i'll mini miny mo it!! maybe 224 is just a little bit to much, but i might be lying to myself!
