I took advantage of the good weather and went to the track I have added a couple of mods since the last run which I need to update.
pulley,programer. Here are the track times
(1)2.218- 14.523 - 94.44 mph - smoked the tires bad
(2)2.152- 14.520 - 93.76 mph - still spinning
I ran a R/T Dakota exc this Run He said he was spinning also,However his sixty foot was better than mine I pulled him on the big end (hard)he said that I'm faster than him even spinning and he has run a 14.012,14.024 (2) times I have seen the slips.He said I need some E/T streets and some good weather again my times should drop into the low 14 area we will see.
(3).502 reaction-2.192-14.605-94.46 mph tire broke loose in first,second then they hooked up;I think this would have been the best run of the night except I started spinning in second, The colder it got the more I would spin owell it was fun and there is always next time.

Sounds like u need a posi and a set of slicks

 

You will do much better if you can get the 60' under 2 secs - you got the high end.

 

Sweet times!!! You will do even better if you get your sixty under 1.6..hehe In the meantime a POSI/converter sure would be nice, but I am sur you know that..

 

What would y'all estimate a stock 5.3 running with a few minor mods, such as exhaust? The reason I ask is cause my dad would kill me if he found out I was racing or running time trials. Thanks.

I know of a couple 02's that ran in the 14's stock.

I ran a 15.34 with my 2001 ext. cab pickup and all i had was a cat-back, K&N(not fipk) and the poweraid spacer. sigle cabs will run in the 14's easily.
