Default new 08 4.8L mods

I am looking for some suggestions on mods for my 2008 4.8L. I am getting intake and exhaust. I was wondering how much a tune would help for power. I asked the GM dealer if GM perf had a cam avail., but they said no. Do you guys have any suggestons on a cam.... I will be willing to do anything but forced induction.... I would like to keep it fuel efficent as it is a DD..
Thanx guys

full bolt ons and a tune, oh yeah and a stall converter to help you off the line. A good tune will really help.

Thumbs down

Thanx, I just noticed there wasn't alot of power. If there is some bolt on that will help I'll try it. I don't think I will be putting a converter in it. I would like to have good mileage, but more power. I am going to get EFI live to do the tuning..

A small cam, exhaust and a tune will wake it up for the daily driver end of your request. Add as much nitrous as you want for the fast & powerful portion.

212/218 seems to be pretty popular for the 4.8s. There is a couple sponsors on the right that sell cams.
