just recently worked up a list with Nelson performance, waiting on r&r from iraq to cash in. comp cams 218 w/ 918s, new pushrods, trans go shift kit, and tune. rest of pickup is stock, except flowmaster dumped atend of cab. any more suggestions for a 5.3 ecsb 2wd running the streets of central texas?? roller rockers? i plan on headers, 160 thermostat, gutted cats, and a locker of some sort. any suggestion for a good locker or lsd, and any worth while bolt ons? mostly run highways and I-35, so we decided against a stall. i would like to run a little shot of nitrous, maybe like a 75 or 100. any ideas please lemme know. i am depending on yall to help kill this R/T Dakota.

 

Get an eaton locker everyone seems to have good results with those and I am fixing to install one myself. Getting a stall would be good for your app cause it will be locked on the highway and wont hurt mpg but will give you alot more off the line. Get some pacesetter ltss they are like 375 and there are dyno charts showing a 20hp gain with them.

 

I would get the stall to help out that cam. It won't hurt your mpg and will increase your take off at the line like stated above. Nelson tune

 

ok, so a stall too. what rpm and how is it gonna act when i drive like i own it? i put mad miles on this pick up, last year was like 30,000. alot of money is getting sunk here, i started out allowing myself 2,000. then i was like... you know , what would another 2-3000 hurt. now i am like whatever, can i still afford the gas??? WTF, nobody has any comment on N02?? come on now, i know somebody knows something. what is a good wet 100 shot go for? i want to get all of this now before i get home so nelson tune can be done once, and not everytime i get more stuff. so pacesetters and a stall, thats it? i am asking youhow to spend money that aint yours... it is like your girlfriend taking YOU shopping... what do you want?

the pacesetters lt u need to get the y-pipe to go with it and the pair is $500 from the sponcers to the right...get an auborn posi..i hate my locker..it unlocks at 20 so u try to do anykinda burnout it unlocks and now your doin a 1 wheel peel..and yeah tnt makes a good 100shot wet kit...or nx..just my .02

 

EATON Had an auburn cant rebuild it once you fry it. I just installed a 100 wet shot on my truck and I can spin all fours sometimes from a dead stop no joke. I took out a hemi rcsb that runs 14.4's by a truck and half to 100. I run 15.1-15.2 na. Def worth it its so much fun.
