Default need a super quiet muffler(for wife) any suggestions????

i will be picking up my 05 gto tommorow. my SIlverado ss is going to be my wifes daily driver. the only modification she wants changed is my exhaust (Hooker aerochamber). she thinks its too loud.

do you guys know of any mufflers that are super quiet, but dont give up too much performance?

i know of flopro, but that will be too loud for her taste too.

thanks in advance guys.

i would say the stock muffler but you dont want to give up on the performance. thats probably the only super quiet muffler. magnaflow is probably the next quietest. get the biggest magnaflow they offer.

I agree that magnaflow is probably the way to go if you want to retain some sort of performance. I run the magnaflow on my truck and it's pretty docile when cruising around town unless you get on it..then it comes alive. Highway cruising is tolerable as well.

Magnaflow is the best, It sounds like you need a new wife or a pair of headphones

My suggestion would be a Borla proXcess. I put one in my dads 2000 GMC until now i havent heard any complaints. Being that he is an enemy of interior noise. I would use the ProXcess as long you keep the cats on........
