We have done very little with the trucks and I could use some help. I have an 03' ESB Z71 W/5.3.

I need to make some more power or most importantly torque. I tow 20ft enclosed and my Z and the truck struggles.

I would like suggestions on either blower (towing?) or heads/cam......any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love the truck and don't want to sell it for a diesel

We did Radix on a 04 SS couple months back....real nice setup.

I am afraid of the boost and towing.


I am leaning more towards a stage 1 head,custom cam,Lt's with cats.....

First thing you want to do is swap a 6.0L in there and then do the heads/cam/headers.

 

may want some 4.10s, and get a torquey cam..

all I know is that my 4.8 has very little torque
