Default Need some help picking a muffler

I have a 2005 Suburban 2500 with the 6.0L

I have a Westers tune and ARHeaders dumping into the stock muffler.
Noise wise it's hard to say it's any louder than stock but I don't think I'm taking full atvantage of the add-ons with the stock muffler.
I'm getting a bit older and the fact the cab is the length of the rig I'm concerned with too much noise/drone.

I'm looking at a Magnaflow cat-back that uses their 5" x 11" x 22" muffler or just replace the muffler with a Flo-Pro 2506 that measures 9" x 12" x 24"

I would like to hear your opinions on each

if you don't want it to be too loud or have any drone then magnaflow and that 22" case magnaflow is about right for you IMO. You could buy that catback or have a shop make you a catback and have them order that muffler which would probably be alittle cheaper.

+1 on the big case Magnaflow. Quiet when you want it to be, and nice sound when you get on it. Barely any highway drone.

That was what I was hoping to hear.
Hope it won't be too loud because of the headers.

I did some checking and I can get the Magnaflow cat-back shipped to my door for $350.00

If its to loud you can always add a resonator/bullet.

I really like my magnaflow very little drone!

I had the Magnaflow 22" 3" in/out muffler. It's a highly recommended muffler here, but personally, I thought it sucked. All it did was hiss on the highway, and when I romped on it, my clutch fan was louder than the exhaust. I prefer the stock muffler over the magnaflow, at least it doesn't drone.

how much drone did you have with the 22" Magnaflow?? I was about to order one of these, but want to hear your side first.

i just had a magnaflow put on my truck yesterday. i have stock manifolds and cats with the single in dual out muffler dumped and i love the sound of it..no drone on highway and nice deep sound at idle and not to loud, and when you romp on it...it has a nice deep growl to it. go with magnaflow IMO
