LS1 edit is a very "advanced hppIII programer" so to speak in which your lap top is the programmer. You can tune for just about anything with it but, you really need to be careful. It's easy to mess up and hurt your truck.

put it to you like this.
HPPIII = Geo metro
EDIT = Corvette
any questions?
of coarse the HPPIII is much easier to use.
edit you just cant push a couple of buttons and smile.
you have to really know what your doing, or as stated above you will mess something up.
next best thing is to purchase a mail order tune from someone, that sells them there is a couple of shops on here that do this. if you want to do that I can tell who to go too.
