FLT Transmission is going in the first week of October, and at the same time I plan to add a muffler and an aftermarket exhaust tip. I've looked at Gibson, Corsa, Borla, etc., but it's so hard to choose without seeing them on a truck! Post your pics and help me decide which tip to go with! Thanks for the help guys...

exhaust tips....dumps make the truck look better IMO

 

I agree. Side exit exhaust before the rear tire (Ford Lightning style) is the only exhaust tips I like on trucks. Everything else should be dumped, IMO.

 

Dump it!!! Less stuff you have to polish

I've thought about dumping the exhaust (and might end up going that way), but I know that it'll make the exhaust note more deep and unpronounced. For this reason, I'd prefer to have an exhaust tip that actually adds to the looks of the truck AND the sound.
Love the look of the side exit, but I'm trying to keep the truck in somewhat of a "sleeper" status.
