Default Need opinions on this trade/offer. THANKS!

So my cousin owes me around $1600 but its hard for him to come up with the cash. He works for his buddy and always has bills and whatnot. His friend said he could work a deal to get me LQ9 with some cleaning up in the heads, an LS3 cam and intake from the SS motors( i think the lq9?)i have a 4.8 in mine thats getting very tired. I already have an AEM intake, headers, and magnaflow y-pipe for mine. so i can just swap everything over. WOuld it be worth it? They said i would drop the truck off and they'll do the full install on it and get it tuned.

Thanks in advance.

I would, if you trust him that is. IMO, bartering is a great way to repay debt.

It'll be nice when i step up to 37"s here in the next month. I def trust him and I've seen a ton of badass motors that him and his friend have put together. Does anyone know what kind of power it would out down?

I would pass on the ls3 cam though, there are plenty of better ones out there for the effort it takes to swap the cam.

Correct me if im wrong, but the ls3 cam is a 1 bolt cam so they would need to get the adapter thing since the LQ9 is a gen3 and takes 3 bolt cams.
