interesting:

If you order LS6 valve springs part#- 12565313 , you may get the new LS2 valve springs part#- 12586484 orange striped ... As the LS6 spring is being phased out...

Both springs have the same specs & are made in Germany...

The LS6 has Ti valves, right? (Or some other form of lightweight valves?)

They wouldn't require as much spring as our 'heavy' valves at higher RPM's.

Does Ling. sell the LS6 springs with this cam for use in LS6's as replacement springs, or do they mention it's okay to run the setup in any other Gen3?

Answering my own questions:

Lingenfelter offers this excellent deal on one of the best street camshaft available for the LS1 engine. Tests have shown 25-30 HP improvement over factory LS1 camshafts with out reducing street driveablity. Kit includes valve springs and camshaft. Camshaft specifications: 207/220 duration @ .050 .573/.580 with 1.7 ratio rocker arms 118.5 CL
They don't say it's specifically for the LS6... and they do mention the LS1 cam as if they were talking about dropping this in a LS1 (seeing as the LS6's had their own cams).

Hell, I'd probably run them.

Our Patriot Gold spring kit retails for $269.50. The complete kit includes: Patriot Gold .650" dual springs, Ti retainers, super 7 locks, machined spring bases, and viton rubber seals. These springs are a drop installation with no maching required on the heads.

The 01 Z06 springs were blue for cam lift of .525, the 02 ones were yellow for .550 lift.
The LS6 valves aren't Ti but they are hollow stem sodium filled for reduced weight and increased strength.
A few folks have run the yellow springs up to .600 lift with no issues, although the 918 are a direct drop in and do not require shaving of the spring seat area ( usually needed for dual springs). Patriots are the preferred choice but the Comp 918 are easier to install.
