Unhappy Need help on truck

hey guys i was wondering if you could help me out. i know its the v8 forum but have a 98 gmc jimmy with a 4.3. do any of you have a 4.3? and if so what mods do you have done. i hear a lot of good stuff about nelsons tune. does he offer one for a 4.3. because i think my programing is messed up the reason being my dad has a 97 blazer and its liek one of a kind its made by sterling over in NJ and it has a high top its like an extra 400 pounds maybe more i was driving his truck and pinned the gas and the thing threw me back into the seat(not like a v8 but it was pretty good) i took off from a stop and the tires jus lit up. my truck feels liek a piece of **** for some reason when i pin the gas the god damm ses light came on after a couple of days it went away and it did it again today i think maybe the fuel ratio is off or something because it came on again its the same gear ratio as him and my **** wont spin at all from a stop and it feels slugish untill over 3k and then it seems to have power.

i had a 95' sonoma with a 4.3 liter H.O. and a 5 speed manual, the only thing i ever did was a k&n filter and 2 1/2 inch dynomax exhaust from the manifolds back. they also have chips, programmers, headers, throttle bodies, intakes and more... just have to spend time looking for it...
