Default Need Help with some stuff

Hey everyone! i need some help with some stuff im buying over the next 4 weeks and need some input from u guys.

Here is the list:
MSD 8.5mm wires
Denso iridium or bosch platinum 4 spark plugs
MacPerformance Intake
B&M Trans cooler(HD)

So i have a few questions
Which spark plugs or worth the money?the Denso or Bosch?

What tuning device should i get?I don't want a race vehicle just an everyday driver . I was thinking maybe a Jet Performance module. One of my friends bought one for his 03 4.8 and it saw a notice improvement. Not like a custom tune improvement but u could tell there was some performance gain. Or should i just go ahead and get a custom tune?

Mike

Save your money on the 8.5 wires and the plugs, not worth it, instead get a custom tune from Westers, that'll kick butt.

Yeah I'd save money on plugs and wires I don't think people on here have had much success with the iridiums vs regular. Also they have had problems with aftermerket wires. I would spend money on a nelson tune if it was me, or intake and exhaust. As for the intake you mentioned I don't know anything about it.

Plugs and wires = under $100 easy
Custom tune = over $250

Plugs and wires are a nce mod for the money. Mytruck really felt smoother when I did mine. That was one of the first mods I ever did. I would not waste the money on expensive plugd though like Iridiums or platinums. Just go get some NGK Tr55's at $2.00 each. MSD wires are great, but can be a pain to put on. Taylors are much easier to put on, but the plug boots don't like aftermarket long tube headers (at least in my case). Get a custom tune from one of the shops listed to the right. They don't have to tune it for racing. They will tune it to what you want. That's why it is custom, you make the choices.

Wester's will create a tune as aggressive as you want it to be...some customers, though, have no idea what they want, so Lyndon tends to be on the conservative side. Which is probably a good thing, seeing as to what happens to engines with not-so-conservative tunes...

What's the need for different plugs and wires if you're not having a spark problem? He has a stock engine and might do some minor mods...no changes to compression or anything that would tax the stock ign system, right?

Go with Nelson, He will give you a great tune, and help you with anything else you need.
