I'm about to go down to the place that does all of my exhaust work to have a muffler put on my '02 Yukon with the 4.8L.......he has a magnaflow that will work for it but I am unsure of the sound of a magnaflow on yukons or tahoes..anyone ever heard it before ?

I think several people have the magnaflows and are happy with them. I can only tell you not to get flowmaster, the drone can be annoying. I had a flowmaster on my truck for about two weeks, thats it. Exhaust is a personal preferance for sure.

Magnaflow rules! Very nice mellow sound. I hacked off the Flowmaster on my F-150 for a Mangaflow and the Flow on my Z71 is coming off pretty soon also for a Magnaflow. I hate Flowmaster now.

 

well I had it done finally today and all I can say is......wow...sounds freaking GOOD !

pretty mellow when you give it gas, gets kind of loud/throaty at WOT and quiet as hell at cruising speed/idle...I'm very happy with it
