need help picking heads

Personally, I'm gun shy about the Comp 918's after all of the threads that I've read about them breaking, from the old ones, to the re-designed ones, to the newest latest and greatest silver ones. So far the PAC 1218's have seemed to be reliable...and your stock retainers will work with either.

Im going to be doing a cam swap soon as well and going with the TR220 cam on a 112lsa, comp 918 springs, hardened pushrods and new lifters on my 6.0L. From what ive learned the stock retainers should be fine. Maybe pick up a set of OEM replacements but if i were you i wouldnt spend the extra $$$ on the titanium retainers unless you do double springs and a bigger cam.

hey, it may not be a big cam but it posts good numbers, has a nice rough idle that im looking for and still lets me drive it every day like i need to. and in my situation, its plenty enough for me. Which is why i recommended it for the 5.3L also, should be good to go.
