I cant find anyone locally for a threaded rod. Does heating up in the oven really work. ITs fuckn 105 degrees out here in phoenix. Im not turning the oven on for nothingl.

That spec of all-thread is kinda hard to come by in local stores. Zach had to order it from some place online. Baking the pulley works just make sure you get a good couple of threads into the crank snout before you start cranking on the bolt to push the pulley on.

Can use a pot of boiling water maybe or the outdoor grill if you dont wanna fire up the oven.

I've used a longer bolt on 6 installs now. Don't believe everything you read about crank threads getting stripped........

I heated all of mine up, i've done 4 or 5 now and it works so slick you will kick yourself for screwing around with anything else. Just take a piece of a 2x4 and give it 2 good whacks and its all the way seated.
