Exclamation Need help for engine rebuild!!!

hello to all! i have a 2001 gmc rcsb 2wd with a iron head 6.0 and a 4l80. Im currently in the process of tear down on the engine and was wondering if this re-ring kit on ebay would be adequate for the rebuild. When i got the truck it had a rear mount turbo rigged up that i have removed. The engine had a lot of blow by and would push oil out of the dip stick tube. im hoping the rebuild will solve that issue. I have a tight budget of 1000 dollars to get the stuff for the rebuild and a tune. The plan is to hone the block and polish the crank and replace all gaskets. Let me know what you guys think about this kit.

Engine re Ring re Main Kit GMC Yukon Sierra 364 6 0L V8 LQ4 LQ9 2004 2006 | eBay

p.s. i plan on adding some boost later on down the road but nothing crazy.

1000 ain't gonna cut it..gaskets are expensive. A ring kit is150 alone. Head gaskets are 100-200. Intake gaskets are 75-100. Front and rear engine cover gaskets are 30 a piece. You'll have 1000 just in a rebuild.

Well that adds up to about 510 not counting machinework. Lets say its 10 bucks a hole to hone and about 40 to hot tank the block and about 40 to polish the crank thats still under 700 dollars. I guess the tune can wait a week or so.

The gaskets I listed are just a few off the top of NY head.. I had about 350 just in gaskets and seals.

The local machine shop honed, hot tanked and installed the cam bearings, them supplying the cam bearings, all for 200. So machine work will be fairly cheap
