Default Need help for diesel

My dad has a 1997 turbo diesel Chevy. Im not sure what size motor is in it yet. I havent been able to get a hold of him. He would like alittle better fuel mileage and some more power to tow his trailer. Every where i have looked has abosulty nothing for that truck. No cold air intakes, no programmers, nothing. Does anyone do custom tunes for thoes trucks?? Can anyone help or have any suggestions on where to go here on the net or in Texas. My mom and dad live in Texas. Thanks guys!!!

B-D power has some products for the 6.5l turbo diesel including upgraded pcms. Also try Kennedy Diesel.

www.62-65-dieselpage.com The forum here has lots of good information. Also you can get some good info from www.dieselplace.com Kennedy Diesel www.kennedydiesel.com has some very good products. His exhaust system is very good for those trucks and would be a good first mod for the truck.
A K&N, AFE, or some high flow air filter helps a bit too..

www.tadiesel.com specialize in building up motors etc. and I have found them very knowledgable. They have one Diesel that was used to tow their race vehicles to the drag strip & then run in the 11's beating $100k Vipers all day long and then when they are ready to go home, the same truck tows everything back to the shop. (Can $)
