NEED HELP - adding wire to IAT harness
#1
I'm putting the stock aibox back in my truck, but it locates the MAF a little more towards the airbox than the volant, stretching the IAT wires that are coming off the IAT sensor in the radix manifold going to the MAF.
The Radix comes with a IAT harness that you splice into the wires originally going to the MAF, and I spliced mine in about 6-7" away from the MAF, which isn't allowing me enough slack.
Can I splice in some same gauge wire (18awg) into the IAT wires to give me more slack or will this cause any sensor reading/resistance/voltage problems?
