Default need help!!!

hey guys!!

i had a problem with my truck for awhile now, i mention on other thread that when i'm on idle on park, i see my rpm is pretty low and when i tap gas paddle, i feel cluth fan stuck for sec or so and perhaps it cosing me problem that my engine goes off.

thiking cluth fan might be problem cuz i scan today again no miss fire or n e thing so i dont kno but suspecting clutch fan

inputs will be appreciated!!

Upgrade to electric fans and see if your issue disappears.

well i would if clutch fan is problem. but i dont kno how to diagnose that. and since its mechanical. can't be seen in scan. and i m pretty cuz it turns off more then one time and is been driving me nuts.


how can u tell if ur clutch fan is gone bad because i think is clutch fan cluth might be problem cuz when i turn on AC omg **** happen even worse.

If your idle is low why don't you bump it up. I don't think your ls6 cams are tuned properly.

Just take off the shroud and remove the clutch fan and crank up the truck for a minute it see if that is really the problem. If it is, just leave it off and get some e-fans!

my tune have no problem, i had tune for over 2 yrs never had problem and i hear clunk at front.
i dont think all of sudden tune can be problem. i check it 2 weeks ago and tune was fine.

and my problem is not happening when i start the car from over night. it happens when i ride for 20 min or so when fan kicks in. i think it might be bad clutch fan and loose belt hopefully.and it gets worse when i turn AC on. so i really dont think is tune cusing that problem
