just a heads up if anyone needs a starter
I got a new starter from this seller on ebay and it shipped super fast and was indeed a legit OEM ac delco starter 
Got it to my door for $61 shipped ($10 off shipping coupon from Ebay). Same thing retails for $400 from GM. This works on any LS engine and is a little higher output than the 4.8/5.3 starter (1.7kW vs. 1.5kW).

hey not sure if you still have this but I might be interested, the green wire on my starter corroded and broke so I have to see if I can fix the wire first
