What kidn of tires? y Grizzly is sittin on 28" 589's.

I'm guessin Laws since you say 28x12. That would be one rough ridin bike if that's the case. We should get together and ride at FWP sometime too. Do you ever ride out there?

i use to have 28 dirt devils 12x12 in rear and 10x 12 in front.. but i came aross a pair of 12x12 mud lites so i got the dirt devils in front and mudlites in rear. and 2 inch spacers in rear so they are even in porportion to the front... the aftermarket backspacing caused the front to stick out about an inch or 2 further than stock

I would go with something else besides the mudlites. They are a little weak I think.

When we were riding this passed weekend, I was making it through lots of little stuff a friend on another Grizzly with 27" mud lites was getting hung up on. He made it through .. he just made it look a lot more difficult than I did.

Flyer, did you zero out the TCS vs RPM table in the Engine Ignition tab? (traction control)
On the cam - most seem to need VE adjustments in the low RPMs to get good idle. Something like 60-80% in the first 3 RPM ranges. After you get a decent idle its up to you which direction to take. Probably first try the commonly used methods of adjusting IFR and PE vs RPM to tune your fueling. Once you log enough data, you could try to develop a modified VE table to account for the changes from your mods.
Cam is maybe #3 on my future mods list...

sorry to come in late. I modded my tq mgnt but I didn't remove it all. if you have billet servos you'll have to adjust your line pressures otherwise you'll beat your trans to death around town. send me your file and I'll take a look @ it. flem68@aol.com

"Flyer, did you zero out the TCS vs RPM table in the Engine Ignition tab?"

What would this accomplish? mine is still set at factory settings.
and i have a mysterious hesitation at 2800 rpms while under boost

I think the traction control system (TCS) table comes into play in 2 cases. First, when the PCM detects wheels slipping it tries to activate the traction control system. This is probably disabled if you disabled your abuse mode. Second, I have a sneaking suspicion that the two TCS tables are also used during shifts (in addition to the upshift torque reduction table). I haven't had the chance to test this yet...
