cam specs for my truck are
.466/.457 190 191 115.5/114 112/116 or 118/113
98-00 f-body
.500/.500 209 198 119.5 117/122
Would this be an ok gain, how much hp?
for the SS Silverado and 01-02 f-body
.479/.467 207 196 116 117/115
How much hp going to this, would I be able to notice the difference?
with .500 lift would it be bad to stay with stock springs or can stock ones hold it easily?

I'd use new springs...they are like $100 or so.
You'd notice a bit more pull on the topend. My F-150 has a tiny 187/193 and runs out of steam ~5100rpms. It just doesn't want to pull anymore. The Z71 has what a 191/190 it pulls okay to 5600rpms.
You'll notice it but is it worth the effort? I dunno, depends on how valuable your Time vs Money is. My time is worth more than my money so I'd prefer to do things only once.
