Default Need cam HELP

Hey guys im kind of new in the LS world. Im building a carbureted gen 4 motor. i have the block bored to 4.070 using -4cc pistons, mostly stock 317 heads with double bee hive springs. a vic jr intake. 800 cfm quadrajet. and now that i have all the big pieces i need to get a cam. my heads do not have rockers, so i can match them to the cam and push rods. i need someone to tell me what cam, rockers, lifters, and push rods i need to make this motor run good.

im going to put the motor into a 1978 chevy blazer with a 8in lift and 40in tires. i have the axles geared to 4.56 to compensate for the large tires and with the old 350 i pulled out of the truck it cruised down the highway at 60 mph at about 2400 rpm. this is not a daily driver, but i dont want such a large lope to the cam that it no longer has street manners. this truck is a weekend toy, and sees lots of off road time.

I'd say get one speced out by Pat G... from what I've heard, you won't be disappointed.
