Default Need Answer Quick!!

hey guys i have a '94 chevy silverado ext.cab stepside with a throttle body injection 5.7 liter 350 V8. well right now i run about a 15.5 or so in the 1/4 mile. i have a .454/.480 lift cam and a 100 wet shot of nitrous waiting to be installed. my question to you guys is, what else do i need to go along with the nitrous and cam installation to get me into the mid-low 13's??? please answer

Posi, slicks, and some form of tuning will def. help your time. I just dont know if a 100 shot and cam is going to get you more than 2 seconds in the 1/4.

-Posi
-4.10 gears
-Mild torque converter (2800)
-Longtube headers with dual exhaust
-Good tires that are less than 30" in height, lightweight wheels (no 20's)
-Remove unnecessary stuff for weight savings

I think you'll be pretty close with all this. How many miles on the 350? I would be a little worried about spraying a 100 shot on a high mileage engine. Depending on the condition of your transmission, it would probably be a good idea to get a built trans too.

ok. i appreciate the information. i have 116,000 miles on my 350 and i had 15 inches tires.

Vortec heads would be a damn good upgrade to go with the above also.There was a set for sell I think on this site a few days ago.
