I always wanted to try this very same mod but worried about too much turbulence at the throttle body opening, I know the F bodies have this but it must be different in some way to account for the turbulence. I am just speculating so I hope somebody else chimes in for you. Good luck!!

well it works good with my nitrous set up but the difference between the fbody and ours is they have a seperate iat sensor upstream and thats the only thing i can think has changed.

someone from here told me that if you dont have a straight path to the maf, like on fbodys, that the maf will not work properly because the bend in the intake right before the maf causes too much turbulence or a problem with the air flow and the maf reads wrong. just what i heard
