I have a 08' nnbs reg short bed 2wd 4.8 v8 silverado lowered 4/6.. i have a shop in which we bag 50's chevy trucks and deal with carburetor stuff.. i have done an ls1 in one truck..but anyway back to our shop truck.. We need more power.. at first i was going to program cam cai and exhaust it but found out that there is really no replacement for displacement..i have an in at a salvage yard which also sells remanned engines and transmissions. so i can get whatever i really want. i was not sure to go with a 5.3 or a 6.0 but will probably go with a 6.0


i would like to do a ly2 swap to a ly6 and was wondering what all i would need to do this..later on i will end up boosting it but for now just a cam and CAI

harness?
vvt?
programming?
transmission upgrade to an 80e?
and what engine would be the easiest to swap in that generation of 4.8
