Bad News, is the guy who ran the light is trying to dispute. I was interviewed by his insurance agent for my side of the report. After the recorder was turned off I asked when will my repairs begin. She said she had to speak with 2 witnesses. I said for what? He told the officer he ran the light! She said he told her I could have avoided it.
The witnesses were Waffle House employees. I went there to get their contact info and asked for what they had witnessed. They said the van ran the light. I asked if they have given their name to anyone else as witnesses and they told me yes. Heh! I call my agent and he said she cannot use a witness that is not on the police report and not to worry. If she denies the claim they will loose in arbitration and have to pay for that too.
Good news is we are starting the repairs anyway and going after them afterwards if they do not accept liability on Monday. It's only a matter of a $500.00 deductible and $8.00 a day renal car fees to me but I am confident I'll be OK. Just fix the truck! Now!
My insurance pays $35.00 a day towards the rental. I'm beating the crap out of an Ultima
.
Even better news is I spoke with the tech who will be performing the body work and he said they have a brand new front clip the same color from a guy putting a Cadillac front end on a new 05. Ah yes, no painting. All bolt on. Yes!

Sounds good on the repairs. Hope the insurance deal doesn't turn out to be too big a hassle. Sometimes it just seems like you need eyes in the back of your head.
Good luck getting it fixed and back on the road so you can get your radix fix.

Sounds good, although sorry to hear about your mishap.
