yes a 230 ought to do it but you dont think it will be too much? I have been thinking of getting my converter restalled to around 3500 while the engine is out would that allow me to go a little bigger?

I agree the 6.0 will eat up a ton of cam, 230 for starters & maybe up from there, I have the same cam as thunder but on a 114lsa, There is no denying the presence of a strong powerful cam when I pull up. I vote go big! The thing about cams is we always end up wanting more

Yeah, thing you have to remember is that 01Thunder is running a 4.8, so that cam is huge in his truck. To get that same kinda reaction in a 6.0, you're gonna have to go big or go home. A cam in the 228-232 range should be good for what your wanting, but you might have to retall the converter.

Yeah right now Im leaning towards a 228 or 230 but what las should I go with 112 or 114 what is that going to change as far as how it runs. Im not very bright when it comes to cams so I dont know what changing the numbers is going to do.

ease of tuning
I am running nitrous
Typically with a good cam selection the tighter lsa gives more n/a hp while the wider lsa will yeild more hp on the bottle this can also have the tendancy to move the power band up

Crazycutter how are you getting away with shot a 220 shot without grenading an engine. Sounds like I should go with a 114lsa. I want some good n/a hp but I want the nitrous to hit hard too. I will probably be spraying a 150 shot after its all said and done.

If you do have the sheet then you can fax it to other cam grinders along with your mods and plans for how you want to use the truck and they can come up with a good spec.
