Do you have any length of pipe after the muffler? Is it turned down or did you just hack it off wo free up space for your air bags?
After my first exhaust, I cut the pipe off after the muffler and sound increased 10 fold. Then I added 18" of pipe that was bent downward and it really made it much more quiet.

I Got a Whipple on my 99 5.3 Long bed. Just to let you know, Unless you do some serious stuff to your truck, or That person doesn't know how to Drive that F-body Your not going to like the resaults. Trust Me I came back on a flat bed after I blew the driveshaft aparts and ripped the back off my tranny at 128 mph racing a 2000 Z-28 SS. He spanked me off the line andthat was it. I folowed him with my foot to the floor till "BOOM" and the smoke came out. The trucks pull hard from 20 or 30 on, But to get off the line to give a Camaro or Firebird a run you need a stall converter and some serious traction. One you get the converter, it will be impossible to get off the line with out some sticky tires and obviously a posi. Good Luck with it. I would like to know your times. Haven't run my at the track and I've had it on there for a year now. Stock mine ran 15.78, hopin to get high 13's with the converter and shift kit this summer.

Hey also, What kind of plugs came with your Whipple. I didn't get any with mine but I know Paxtons say to get rid of the platinums and put in regular copper plugs. I had one plug break internally and set a skip code. And at $7 a piece they get expensive. Thanks
