My Truck Newby
#1
Hi all. I knew you were here but I never posted here before. I came over from LS1TRUCK.COM. This summer I installed a 2002 LS1, automatic, and accessories into my 1981 GMC longbed truck, and I love every tire ripping minuet of it. I also had some minor tuneing on the PCM by Nelson Performance and picked up 7 tenths in the 1/4. My latest is 14.68 @ 95.62 MPH. I look forward to posting and reading on this forum. You can find me on LS1TRUCK.COM by the name GMCwantsLS1. If you need tuning go to http://www.nelsonperformance.com/ he has GP and will do many extras, and custom work that most tuners won't take the time to do.

Hey what's up? Nice to see another mutant truck on here
Great on your time, if i remember right you started out with a 15.9, then the posi and slicks helped a little bit, and now 14.6 I see 13's in reach. Get that stall and chunk those 2.73's hahha, and i bet you gain more.
Now get back to ls1truck.com, what are doing here, lol.
thanks,
allen

Welcome to the site. It is nice to see the older trucks shooting for the newer style injection. Especially the new Ls1's.

Thanks, I thought about crate engines but the expense would have been more and gas milage and driveability would have suffered.
