Default my truck doesnt turn on ???? help

sup fellas ...have a question if any of yall know something i need help ....i have a 2oo4 gmc i took my truck out the garage on tuesday its been sittin for like a month i i took it to the carwash, came back home an wax it then i tryed to turn it on an it didnt wanted to all my lights like the check engine turn on ..i started saying reduce power engine , transmision hot , over heated engine .an low fuel ..i dont know what it could be they told me it might be the computer got burned an theres no way my trans an engine got hot cuz the carwash is around the block if any of yall would happen to know an could help me out with this ...thanks

check under the hood and crawl underneath to see if a rodent chewed through some wires. Has to be a grounding issue of some sort. whether a loose ground not getting connection or a non ground grounding out.

pulled this from another thread

There should be 1 at the front on the bottom bolt of the P/S bracket, and one on each side of the heads at the rear. There's also the braided one that goes from the back of the driver's side head to the ground stud on the firewall. I also ran an extra one from that bolt on the P/S bracket to the frame, and one from one of the bellhousing mounting studa to the frame. I also cleaned the ground on my fuel pump hot wire ground, on the frame, and ran a braided ground from there to the body. Everything should be pretty well grounded!

I'm pretty sure there's several people on here from H-town or not far away that have EFI or HPT and could possibly help you out if it came to that.
