My stuff is finally all here! woohoo! long story....though.

As some of you might remember I bought a Magnacharger Radix(3.1 pulley) some time ago from the now retired "Project R" or Brian (great guy).
Since then I've taken delivery on Velvet ride rear shackles which will lower the rear of the truck level with the front and more importantly give me less highway b-b-bounce.
Next came the hog of a cat back exhaust from Magnaflow which is a daul 3" inlet, single 4" outlet pipe.
Then as the UPS Co. would have it my AZSM headers showed up yesterday looking very cool and thermal coated to boot.
In addition to all this my wheels came in from Intro which are very, very nice BUT as my luck would have it, the backspacing is incorrect and I have to send them back for a re-tool and it seems the lead time is about 4 weeks. BTW, they are 20x8.5" Pentia 8's, and they feel very light which is sweeet!
And lastly, the stereo and alarm system is installed, Finally!!! sheesh, BUT the hunchback of murphy's law has slapped me upside my head and there is noise in the system that needs to be sorted AND! the worst part is the freaking installer managed to scratch, gouge, and scrape several interior plastic panels and chip some of the paint on the inside of the door. hmmm. ****!!!
So I suppose this next week will be sorting out the damage done by the stereo shop and maybe installing the rear shacles.
I have a few questions:
1. How would you handle dealing with the stereo shop in terms of repairing the damage? They have already agreed to take care of it, HOWEVER, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable just dropping my truck off again and hoping it will come back squared away. So far, they have given me no ideas on how they might want to repair the paint chips, but did say they had an interior touch up guy that could fix all the panel blemishes.
2. After that mess is complete, and the stereo noise is gone, what should I do then in terms of install order? taking into account I'll need the services of a muffler shop to weld me up some mandrel bent tubing from the header flanges to the daul muffler inlet's? everything else I will do myself.
thanks

Time to beat up the stereo place! Reasons like that make me angry and why I do almost everything I can on my own.
I'd get the exhaust in before the blower. You'll have to drive open LTs (which is FUN I may add) to an exhaust place. I'd get them to install the Magnaflow catback while you are there also.
If you haven't thought of this yet... I'd get a TransGo installed in your 4L80E and a BIG cooler also. That way you can have zero Tqmgt holding ya back.
Basically get all the supporting mods in place to be safe. 160* thermostat and e-fans also.
hope that helps!

thanks hitman, I really am pretty pissed about the stereo shop messing up my stuff.
I'm going to hold off on the e-fans until I have a better way to control them (i.e. PCM)
I will be putting that 160 degree thermostat and a transgo shift kit as you recommended. Is the B&M cooler a signifigantly better unit that an HD tranny cooler?

I'm pretty happy with the LS1/VSC setup. It was cheap and effective. Now that I have 10awg wire and the 40A controller I'm not worried one bit about it. For $125... that setup works badass....I have it paired with a 160* thermo and the same 3/4 ton radiator you have.
You could also make a BIG heat exchanger like from a Honda's radiator (ah they are good for something other than commuting).
I think your factory installed cooler is like mine, it works and that's about it apparently. The B&M is so cheap I'm gonna do one here within the next month as I think I have a PI Vig3200 lined up.

so you got the LS1 fans with a VSC controller(made by who?) got any pics of the set-up.
I already have magnachargers upgraded heat exchanger but I'll reserve the right to upgrade to "performane Honda" if my IAT's aren't where I'd like them.
where is the factory tranny cooler located these days? and if you get that B&M where would you mount it?

I have only one pic of my fans and it's too large to upload. lol email me and I'll send it to ya.
The factory tranny cooler should be just behind the grill. I'd prolly mount the B&M in the same place as the stocker. Make some brackets and stuff if need be.
