Default My fix to oil thirsty engine

Note the oil left in the intake ports from the old PCV system...

Ok, I'll ask. What exactly did you do? Did you switch over to the LS6 pvc system?

Gee... was that engine burning oil resulting in visible fumes from exhaust?

Yea, it's an LS6 cover, but I took the foam pads out and added a little more protection and insulation to the knocksensor circuits. I couldn't believe how much oil was getting in there. Maybe taking those pads out will help releive some of the heat getting trapped under there.

Believe it or not, this motor only has 7K on it. No smoke out the exhaust, but I think it was because it was getting burned in the cats...
