I think they can hold .600 lift. They are about 10 dollars a peice.

well i see that slp is a sponser. i have to say that the tool i got isnt going to make it through another install. it is coming apart. i am going to see what the warranty is. if it is not covered then i would say do not get this one. hell i had to chase a eclip in the head three times.

So to do the spring swap do you just rotate each cylinder TDC and use the tool to press down on the spring retainer?

Get some news times soon with the new cam.

man i didnt even turn the motor to tdc. i just plugged in 100 psi ti each cylinder and went at it.that might not be the correct way but i figure that the vaslves have a little carbon on them. but hell the valves held up good. i pushed on a couple and they didnt budge. when i compressed the spring i had to hit it top get the keepers unlock on the valves.

Do you do this through the spark plug threads? Never mind, dumb question. So where did you get the fitting for the air? Sounds a little easier and safer. Plus you'll know real quick if you have a bad ring.
