my 4" exhaust
#11
Answer your dam phone sometime ben

mines simliar, except right here, it fit through the frame work, so mine a straight joint of 4inch, with a little crick at the muffler. There may be a little crick at the DP connection. But I didnt find a good deal on a duramax exhaust either.
this is my old 3inch, but the four inch runs the same with no bend. and the diesel magnaflow is still there.

well from the turbo outlet its a 3" downpipe back to right about the trans crossmember, then from my cutout it goes to 4" the rest of the way back... you can pretty much stick your arm through the muffler LOL, as far as restriction goes, I dont really think there is any LOL.
It is VERY low, deep toned, smooth, mellow sounding, but not quiet. I really like how it sounds. I have a track vid floating around the Tx section of it. You can hear the turbo through it loud and clear. Even at idle. Who needs an STS for the whistle

I'd really prefer there not to be any turbo noise from the exhaust, but I'd give up a ton of flow to make that happen, so I figure I'll deal with it. I havent got a single race since its been back on the road
I think they scurred between the pillar guages and the crazy souding exhaust LOL

I did alot of searching for 4" diesel exhaust kits and the best price, I found with a little bit of modifying is the magnaflow kit. Mine is a 1/2 ton crew cab and the kit for the 2500 crew cab regular bed is only $339 from summit, all stainless no tip though probably what I will use with my turbo kit, my t-70 has a 3" outlet so I will need to get a reducer however if I ever upgrade to the GTK 850 it already has the 4" outlet anyways, you guys should checkout the magnaflow kit!
